What are Tags?

Tags rewrite a query to a site search instead of leaving the results page. Type a tag before or after your query (for example @r headphones or headphones @r ), and Uruky redirects to the same search with the site constraint visible in the box and URL.

A space is required: @rheadphones is not a tag. There are no Quicktags: r headphones is never rewritten. One @ per query; a prefix wins over a suffix.

Bare @r becomes site:reddit.com . Path-scoped sites use inurl: the same way site: restrictions do.

Custom tags

Define up to 20 custom tags in Settings → Shortcuts. Each has a trigger, a name, and a site: a domain, a path (reddit.com/r/foo), or a leading-dot TLD. Custom tags win over Kagi Snaps and scope shortcuts. A custom bang with the same trigger does not steal @s ; bangs still use !s .

Kagi Snaps

Optionally enable Kagi Snaps to reuse Kagi bang triggers that declare a site (ad, then d). DuckDuckGo bangs are not used for Tags. Entries without a site are skipped. Unknown @foo is left alone, then bangs run as usual.

Scope shortcuts

A scope can have an optional tag shortcut. When Scopes are on, @s applies that scope and strips the trigger from the query. Custom tags and Kagi Snaps win if they share the trigger. Suggested scopes have no shortcut.

Precedence

Uruky resolves @triggers in this order: your custom tags (if Tags are on), then Kagi Snaps (if enabled), then a scope shortcut (if Scopes are on). Bangs still redirect off-site after that. Image search (!i), feeling lucky (!), and Quickbangs are unchanged.

Open Settings → Shortcuts to enable Tags, optionally enable Kagi Snaps, and to define custom tags.
